So here we are at last. It began with our imprisonment, it peaked with nightmares and the removal of our cuffs, and now it approaches the end with the fall of the Obex.

No matter the outcome of the coming battle, at least we can say we died as free men and women, no longer held in by walls or cuffs or faceless overseers.

The only unity we need have now is the belief in an ideal. There is no room in this for hesitation, no room for seeing the gray in between. Only the solid belief in an absolute. Appearance doesn't matter.

Race doesn't matter. Age, homeworld, lifestyle, mindset, political belief... none of it matters now.

We arrived here because they demanded it. We will fight because they want it.

But we will win because we fight for it!

So many have left. It would almost seem our population is at its lowest yet.

Are there any theories on that? Any beside the obvious, rather.

Speaking of killing(and this is wholly relevant thanks to the current events, and because I know how governments, even illegitimate ones, operate), I will say this: I tolerate this Alliance by virtue of the word of one man right now. The instant my suspicions are proven right, however, or something else of any negative consequence happens as a result of this Alliance doing something stupid...

I will systematically hunt down and kill every single leader in the Alliance.

There's really not much going on here since the tumultuous arrival of our current guardians, is there?

Others have asked it, I'll ask it as well: Just what the hell do they hope to accomplish, hovering over us like some kind of scavenger, eagerly awaiting its next meal?

If they wanted us dead, it's safe to assume they could have done it already.

At the same time, if they wanted us to fervently fight their enemies, they could easily use the Indigeo system to provide us with all we need.

The loss of our cuffs merely makes it easier for us to butcher each other, considering we can't exit the compound.

Perhaps I'm far too late on this to offer any input, but something about this, now that I have the time to dedicate to it, strikes me as suspicious.
